Our immediately following telegram, reporting a conversation which Dunn had today with Rogers of the US embassy, is of particular interest. It seems likely that the opportunity has been taken of Pocock's visit here, prior to his movement to Phnom Penh, to impress US thinking and concern in US and that Rogers was specifically authorized to speak to US he did.
