In brief conversation on August 22 norred (US Embassy) said that he though that the US request to us to speak to the Cambodians about presioners might in about a week.
At present norred was examining various suggestions from Washington about the possible battle-field exchange of prisoners as well as the question of an approach through the Cambodian government. |
