Summary / Abstract :

There is wide spread belief in Hanoi that the current cross border operations being undertaken by Vietnamese forces in to Cambodia are in part directed at assisting anti-government resistance forces active in certain area the assistance could take the form of either direct support by linking up with these force or of relieving pressure on these forces by attacks on Cambodian loyalist troops.
