Summary / Abstract :

We have not yet been able to obtain an official briefing of Singapore's attitude to developments in Kampuchea but the following information from various sources would seem to give some indication of Singapore's attitude. The main factor that emerges is that Singapore's earlier doubts about the strength of the U.S. commitment to the region have been sharply revived.
