Summary / Abstract :

A New Zealand employed as a photographer by vis news mainly in Cambodia , Mr Tom Aspell, called here recently and made an interesting comment that within Cambodia it is now widely believed that Sihanouk's standing among the Khmer Rouge and insurgent forces has fallen so far that were Phnom Penh to fall it is quite likely that he might not even be invited to return to Cambodia privately let alone as Head of State. Apparently Sihanouk has not been accorded that title by the Khmer Rouge since last November.
