Summary / Abstract :
|
A party and government delegation from Laos, led by party general secretary and premier Kaysone Phomvihan, visited China between 15 and 24 March. This was the first time since the Pathert Lao takeover that so Sight level a meeting between the Chinese and the Laos has taken place and it follow recent visits by Phomvihan to Vietnam and the Soviet Union the visit was preceded by the space of a bare week by the arrival of the new Lao Ambassador to China, Thavone,sichaleun, after an interregnam of six months.
