In regard to Cambodia, there was again no great difficult from the Vietnamese side but Lien doubted whether relations could be restored until the war in South Vietnam ended. The Cambodians wished the G.V.N to concede Cambodia sovereignty of the Island off the coast and to make the stock declaration on Cambodia frontiers.
