The capture of Ta Mok by the Cambodian authorities of 6 March, and his current detention in Phnom Penh, apparently a waiting trial before a domestic court, have thrown up a number of interesting issues pertaining to the possible manner in which a accountability will be sough for the action of the KR leaders from 1975-1979, If at all.
