The confession of Chhay Cheng aka Phat, soldier of division 502, confessed that Vey, deputy commander of regiment 52, was a traitorous leader of Phat. In 1976, Vey assigned Phat to build up more forces, to kill top cadre by secretly shooting, to find way to kill the Angkar's leader ant to plant mine at Pochentong in order to kill foreign visitors and defame the party's influence.
ចម្លើយ ឆាយ ចេង ហៅ ផាត យុទ្ធជនកងពល៥០២ បានឆ្លើយពី ឈ្មោះ វៃ អនុបញ្ជាការវរសេនាធំ ៥២ ថា ជាមេដឹកនាំបក្ខពួក ក្បត់របស់វា«ផាត»។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៦ វៃ បានចាត់តាំង ផាត អោយប្រមូលកម្លាំងក្បត់ថែមទៀត លួចបាញ់កម្មាភិបាលធំៗ រក វិធីសម្លាប់អង្គការដឹកនាំ យកមីនទៅដាក់នៅពោធិចិនតុង ដើម្បី សល្លាប់ភ្ញៀវបរទេស និង បង្ខូចទ្ធិពលបក្ស។
