Sarit told the British Ambassador that the he had instructed the Ministry of foreign Affairs to accept the Cambodia proposals for consultation in principle, but to enquirer- (a) as to proposed status of the Cambodian representative (so that Thailand could nominate a representative of equivalent status), and (b) the Subjects to be discussed.
