As indicated in our telegram No.364 Thanat indicated a desire to have a private discussion with forsythia, Critchley, Stuart and Loomos during their visit to Bangkok. This took place on June 7th and he spoke with great candor. He gave us, in strict confidence, what he describe as the same briefing he had given the prime Minister and cabinet.
