Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Cambodian developments hit Thailand hard and unexpectedly like a sudden seismic shock. They widened existing strains, such as the Thai- United States misunderstanding, and provoked new stresses as to whether or not to send Thai troops into Cambodia. According to several independent Thai observers, Thailand faced the "serious dangers" of communist invasion.
