Summary / Abstract :
The trade agreement between PRG of south Vietnam and Cambodia will benefit both parties in three way for PRG side, a treaty with internationally recognized non-communist government raises the legitimacy of PRG , PRG will receive its supplies at a cheaper price, as well as a more relaible channel of supply from Cambodian government. For Cambodian side, she will receive $ 2, 400 000 US in hard currency, more reflectively control her economy, and have more leverage to control VC/ NVA activities within her territory . Moreover, this trade agreement can be fitted in to Sihanouk's main goal of preserving Cambodia sovereignty and territory integrity . Also , it also, it also offers a series of recent diplomatic events ,In sum, two states can be made from this. First, It benefits both Cambodia, and the PRG.
