After two days of meeting, Prince wan is reported to have told the press that the current talks “will tend to become more difficult every day”. This is in line with his comments to the ambassador before the talks had passed the preliminary stages. He said that the talks were going badly, and expressed view that the Cambodia delegation’s instructions were unduly inflexible, leaving little scope for compromise.
