Six large tracts of Cambodian have been used by Vietcong as base areas for logistic, training and, regroupment Cambodia is said to be the source of the rice requirements of Vietcong troop which the amount is above 80, 000 tons annually. Phnom Penh becomes a transit point for high level Vietcong personnel who fly in civil planes from Hanoi , and take taxis from Phnom Penh to the border.
