The King's Journey to Siam is of course thoroughly irresponsible . It may also be an indication of some degree of mental unbalance following the recent death of his daughter . Joy probably reported on some earlier indication of this possibility that he is now under at least partial influence of the extreme anti- French and Pro Viet Minh leaders.
