Lok You, 87 years old, was born in Tang Rusey, Bati district, Takeo province. He become of novice at watt Chambak Betmeas, Bati district, Takeo province. Three year later, when he was 21 years old, he became a Bhikku at the same watt. He lived in the wall for 7 years , then moved to watt Tonle Bati in the district until 1970 he moved to watt Lanka in Phnom Penh and stayed until the evacuation in 1975..
