Summary / Abstract :

Six months before the July 2003 national elections focus participants hold conflicting attitudes about their lives and the state of the county. Participants in a set of 12 focus groups held throughout the country in January tended to express satisfaction with many if the Chang they had experienced over the past few years namely peace and the expansion of development project in local communities.
