Author's Bibliographical statement: Michelle caswell is Assistant professor of Archival studies at UCLA. She holds a PhD in library and information studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison an MLIS in archival administration for UW - Milwaukee, and a naster's chegree in would religions from Harvard university. Her work on archives human rights and pluralism has appeared in American Archivist Archival science Archival librij, Jourmal of Documentation, and first Monday.
