Yim Aol is PTSD victim. She married to Ien Rim in 1959. In 1975, her husband was sent to kill. She has 4 daughters. She has 7 siblings, but three of them had already died. In the Khmer Rouge regime, Yim Aol used to lack of food and shelter. She used to have serious injury. Also she used to face combat situation. She used to be brainwashed. She was forced to isolate from others. She was close to death. She was separated from her family members. She used to experience of unnatural death of family or friend. She used to be torture. She used to suffocate in 1977. Recently, she feels as the event is happening again. She feels detached or withdrawn from people. She feels jumpy. She feels irritable. She tries to avoid activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as if she does not have a future. She feels sudden emotional. She feels guilty for having survived. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events. She feels as if she is the only one who suffered from the events. She feels that no one she can rely on. She is being told that she has done something that she cannot remember. She feels someone she trusted betrayed her.
យឹម អ៊ុលមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយ អៀម រឹមឆ្នាំ១៩៥៩។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ប្ដីគាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមយកទៅសម្លាប់។ គាត់មានកូនស្រី៤នាក់។ ហើយមានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដ៣នាក់បានស្លាប់ហើយ។ នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម យឹម អ៊ុលធ្លាប់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារនិងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់រងរបួសធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ត្រូវអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបង្ខំអោយរស់នៅដោយឡែកពីអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ជួបប្រទះការស្លាប់ខុសបែ្លកពីធម្មតានៃក្រុមគ្រួសារ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេធើ្វទារុណកម្ម។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍មិនរវីរវល់ជាមួយអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ឆាប់ភ័យខ្លាច។ គាត់ឆាប់ខឹង។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វអោយគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដិការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដទាំងនោះ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹកឃើញបានល្អិតល្អន់នូវព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាគ្មានអនាគត។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនអោយគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ឆាប់មានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងចិត្ដមួយរំពេច។ គាត់បន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងដែលនៅរស់រានមានជីវិត។ គាត់គិតថាគួរអោយអៀនខ្មាសអំពីព្រឹត្ដិការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាគាត់តែម្នាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។ គាត់គិតថាដូចជាគ្មាននរណាម្នាក់គួរអោយទុកចិត្ដ។ គាត់បានដឹងថាគាត់ធើ្វអី្វមួយប៉ុនែ្ដគាត់នឹកមិនឃើញសោះ។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាអ្នកដែលគាត់ទុកចិត្ដបែរជាក្បត់ចិត្ដគាត់ទៅវិញ។
