Dear Youk,
While Helen was visiting here we finished off the mapping 2000 data, and all the latest amendments to site names, victims etc. Unfortunately though, we also found out that some existing burial sites in ARC/View, in all different years, did not have their reported numbers of victims and mass graves in ARC/View. This happened when that data was not keyed into the GPS on site, maybe sometimes this info came later. I am adding those in now. While making the amendments, a few conflicts were noticed between the various lists and what is in ARC/View. Some og these will affect the DC-Cam geocide site Masterfile, can you please make these changes to the Masterfile. Kuk Mit Sao 030201 (1998) is a P, add B as well, as it is the Burial table too. Trapeang Ampil is in as both 040701 & 040702 (both B 1999), add 040702. Munty Ta Man add 70107 as a P (House) 1997 [Munty Ta Man is already in as 70101 P (Purpose built) /B/M 1995/96, 70102 M 1997, 70103 (Purpose built Underground) 1997] Sala Svay Romiet 140401 (1997) is the Burial site, add 140404 for the Prison site for Sala Svay Romiet and change 140401 to B only. Banteay Po Chrey 150201 is the Prison, and 150204 is it as a Burial (1997). It was entered onto the GPS as both. Add 150204 B and change 150201 to P. Add 160204 Phum 6 as a P (1999) Koh Thmei add 170707 as a P, and change 170705 (1997) to B only. Tup Khsach. Delete 200104 (1997) Bantup Khsach as same as 200101 (1995/96) Tup Khsach. Also can you please check this for me: Cheung Ek is in Arcview as 120601 (B) & 120602 (M). This would make it in Meanchey district. There is also a site 120501 Previous Prison without a name. Helen thinks this might be Prey Sao, it is in Dangkao district, Are these district correct for these sites? Thanks-Nereida. PS Youk, are you still planning to come to UNSW at the middle of the year?
