Hang Sem is PTSD victim. Her husband called Srei Yi. She has 11 children, but only 4 are still alive. Her father called Hang. Her mother called Nay. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, and shelter. She used to be brainwashed. She was close to death. She was separated from her family members. She was lost. She was in a situation where her life was in danger. She used to drown when she was 14 years old. She used to suffocate in 1978. Recently, she recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the events is happening again. She usually have nightmares. She feels withdrawn from people. She is unable to feel emtions. She feels jumpy. She finds it is difficult in concentrating. She has trouble sleeping. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional. She finds it is difficult to perform her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels guilty for having survived. She feels as if she is the only one who suffered the events. She feels as if she is split into two people and one of her is watching and the other is doing.
ហង្ស សែមមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះស្រី យី។ គាត់មានកូន១១នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដ៤នាក់នៅរស់រានមានជីវិត។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះហង្ស។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះណយ។ នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហមគាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារ ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំណែនាំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់បិះនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ត្រូវវងេ្វង។ គាត់ជួបស្ធានការណ៍ដែលរន្ធត់ធើ្វអោយជីវិតគាត់រងគ្រោះថ្នាក់។ គាត់ធ្លាប់លង់ទឹកនៅពេលគាត់អាយុ១៤ឆ្នាំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វអោយនឹកឃើញជារឿយៗទៅដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ឬគួរអោយភ័យខ្លាចជាទីបំផុត។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិជារឿយៗ។ គាត់គិតថាមិនរវីរវល់ជាមួយអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍សោះ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍ទៅលើអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វអោយគាត់ប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វអោយគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដឬពោរពេញដោយការឈឺចាប់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់គ្មានអនាគត។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនអោយគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់មានប្រតិកម្មនៅក្នុងចិត្ដពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏គួរអោយឈឺចាប់។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាគេយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់អំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលបានកើតឡើងចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់ពិបាកនៅក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារប្រចាំថៃ្ង។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះរឿងដែលបានកើតឡើង។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងដែលបាននៅរស់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ទៅជាចង់ឆ្កួត។ គាត់គិតថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់គត់ដែលទទួលការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនេះ។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាខ្លួនគាត់ត្រូវបំបែកខ្លួនជាពីរហើយអ្នកទីមួយកំពុងតាមដានពិនិត្យ ហើយអ្នកទីពីរកំពុងធ្វើ។
