Main Crime Details :
Forcing a disabled person with a disabled leg to work

From 1975 to 1979, Khmer Rouge cadres forced [people] to carry dirt at the Stung Phe dam, carry the cement used to build the dam at Along Damrei of the Chhum Kiri district, and dig a canal in the village. Ta Chhruoch, the village chief, who now lives in Ta Reach, a nearby village, forced me to work at Anlong Damrei. My mother was also aware of this incident. I learned that Ta Mok was the chief of Anlong Damrei, and I saw him three times from 1976 to 1977. At Anlong Damrei, with nothing inside my stomach, I worked from three or four a.m. to eleven thirty a.m. Then we ate lunch. Shortly afterwards, [we] went back to work until five p.m., which was the time we had dinner. After dinner, [we] kept working until nine or ten p.m. When people were sick, they were sent to a hospital. At the time, Phan (deceased) worked with me at the dam site.

In 1976, Yey Yet, a female unit chief (deceased) ordered me to work building the dam at Stung Phe. The working conditions at the construction site were as difficult as those in Anlong Damrei. The food rations were too little. We got only a bowl of rice soup. In 1978, Ta Chruoch, a unit chief, forced me to carry dirt, and dig the canal at Krok mountain. The working conditions over there were extremely hard, and there was very little food to eat. Everything was too difficult for me, because my right leg was disabled. I was shot by a bullet in 1970. However, I did struggle hard to survive the regime. Ta Khlim was also sent to carry dirt [at Krok mountain]. Yey Yet, the village chief, and Ta Chruoch, the unit chief, should be held accountable for forcing people to [work extremely hard].

I am happy to file this application form, and I want to see the Khmer Rouge leaders prosecuted
