Son Sat, Soldier of Regiment 116, Region 15, confessed that in August 1975, he did farming around the office of Em Oeun, Secretary of Battalion 105, Regiment 116, Phnom Penh. He made contact with Lay Sarim, thus they became acquainted each other since then. Moreover, he, in fact, did not know that Sarim was a treacherous network of Khoem Thoeun, secretary of Regiment 116.
សុន សាត វរសេនាធំ ១១៦ តំបន់ ១៥ បានឆ្លើយថាៈ នៅខែ៨ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ខ្លួនបានមកធ្វើស្រែនៅមន្ទីររបស់ អែម អឿន ជាលេខា វរសេនាតូច ១០៥ វរសេនាធំ ១១៦ ក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ ខ្លួនបាន ទាក់ទងជាមួយ ឡាយ សារឹម ចាប់ផ្ដើមស្គាល់គ្នាតាំងពីពេលនោះមកបន្ដែខ្លួនមិនបានដឹង សារឹម ជាខ្សែរយៈក្បត់របស់ ខឹម ធឿន លេខាវរសេនាធំ ១១៦ទេ។
