Am Ren is PTSD victim. Ren got married to Yan Vy in 1981. Ren has 6 children. Her father called Ek Rim died. Her mother called Yann Teng is now 71 years old. Ren has 12 siblings, but 4 of them died in the Khmer Rouge regime. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was in combat situation She was brainwashed. She was close to death. She was forced to separate from her family members. She was tortured. She was drown in 1999. She has suffocated for the last 10 years until now. She was beaten on the head in 1978. She lost consciousness for 10 minutes. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She has recurrent nightmares. She feels withdrawn from people. She is unable to feel emotions. She easily feels jumpy. She has difficulties in concentrating. She has trouble sleeping. She feels on guard. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She is less interest in the daily activities. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional when reminded of the most hurtful events. She has difficulties in performing her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels hopelessness. She feels as if she is going crazy. She feels that she is the only one who suffered the events. She feels that has no one to rely on. She finds out or being told by other people that she has done something that she cannot remember.
អំ រ៉េនមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយយ៉ាន វ៉ីនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៨១។ រ៉េងមានកូន៦នាក់។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះឯក រឹមស្លាប់។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះយាន់ តេងសព្វថៃ្ងអាយុ៧១ឆ្នាំ។ រ៉េនមានបងប្អូនបង្កើត១២នាក់ ស្លាប់អស់៤នាក់។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារ ទឹក ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និង ជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ត្រូវទទួលទារុណកម្ម។ គាត់ធ្លាប់លង់ទឹកនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩៩។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើម១០ឆ្នាំកន្លងមកហើយ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេវាយក្បាលនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់បាត់បង់ស្មារតីរយៈ១០នាទី។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏គួរអោយភ័យខ្លាចបំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិអាក្រក់ជារឿយៗ។ គាត់គិតថាមិនរវីរវល់ជាមួយអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍អ្វីសោះ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ័យខ្លាច។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើ្វអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការទទួលដំណេក។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ពុំសូវចាប់អារម្មណ៍នឹងសកម្មភាពរាល់ថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ដូចជាគ្មានថៃ្ងអនាគតទៅថៃ្ងមុខ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់បណ្ដាលឱ្យមានប្រតិកម្មក្នុ្នុងខ្លួនពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍គួរអោយឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារផេ្សងៗ។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងអំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមានឡើងចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់អស់សង្ឃឹម។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ដូចជាចង់ទៅឆ្កួត។ គាត់គិតថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់គត់ដែលបានទទួលការឈឺចាប់ក្នុងព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។ គាត់គិតថាគ្មាននរណាម្នាក់គួរអោយពឹងពាក់បាន។ គាត់បានដឹងឬអ្នកដទៃគេប្រាប់ថាគេបានធើ្វអ្វីមួយដែលគាត់នឹកពុំឃើញសោះ។
