Buoy Hong Ve, lieutenant general of tank unit, battalion 21, regiment 26, was arrested in Kratie province battlefield on November 7, 1978. Buoy Hong Ve confessed that in 1972, the Vietnamese party forcibly recruited him as soldier, because he could not give up his parents; moreover, he was the Vietnamese party's tool. On November 7, 1978 Troem Vann Yik, major general, and chief of tank regiment 26, assigned him to lead a tank company to come into the Kampuchea territory.
ប៊ួយ ហុងវ៉េ ពលបាលផ្កាយបី កងរថក្រោះ វរសេនាតូច ២១ វរសេនាធំ ២៦ ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួនថ្ងៃ៧-១១-១៩៧៨ នៅសមរភូមិខេត្ដក្រចេះ។ វ៉េបាននិយាយថា នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ បក្សវៀតណាមបានចាប់បង្ខំខ្លួនឱ្យធ្វើទាហាន ដោយខ្លួនមិនទាន់ ជ្រះស្រឡះពី«ពុកម្ដាយ។ ខ្លួនជាឧបករណ៍ដែលបក្សវៀតណាម ទុកប្រើ។ នៅថ្ងែទី៧-១១-១៩៧៨ ឈ្មោះ ត្រឹម វ៉ាន់យិក វរសេនីយផ្កាយពីរ ប្រធានវរសេនាធំកងរថក្រោះលេខ ២៦ ចេញបញ្ជាឱ្យខ្លួនចេញរថក្រោះមួយអនុសេនាធំចូលមកទឹកដីកម្ពុជា។
