Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Phnom Penh radios: private industries in the new regime in Cambodia were nationalized. Many factories began to work as normal. Neither the poor nor the rich existed. Instead, all were the loyal democrats. The grass-root work force was originated from workers and peasants. The Manila radio: more than 1,000 Khmer refugees wanted to return to their hometowns due to lack of land and food. Thai District Chief Chha Khang in Aranh said 20,000 US dollars were expended on the refugees. An influx of Khmer refugees still fled to Thailand, even though Thai police strictly guarded the border.
វិទ្យុអូស្ដ្រាលី និង វិទ្យុភ្នំពេញ៖ ឧស្សាហកម្មឯកជននៅកម្ពុជាក្លាយជា កម្មសិទ្ធិជាតិអស់ហើយ របបថ្មីនៅកម្ពុជាធ្វើតូបនីយកម្ម, រោងចក្រ ភាគច្រើននឹងចាប់ផលិតវិញហើយ នៅកម្ពុជាគ្មានអ្នកមានអ្នកក្រទេ មានតែអ្នកប្រជាធិប្បតេយ្យស្មោះត្រង់ កំលាំងមូលដ្ឋាន គឺកម្មករ កសិករក្រ។ វិទ្យុម៉ានីល៖ ជនភៀសខ្លួនខ្មែរជាង ១,០០០នាក់ ចង់ ទៅស្រុកវិញព្រោះអត់ដីនៅ និង អាហារ ចៅហ្វាយស្រុកថៃ ឈ្មោះ ឆាខង នៅអារញថា ថវិកា ២០,០០០ដុល្លា ត្រូវចាយអស់លើជន ភៀសខ្លួន។ ចលនាខ្មែររត់ចេញពីកម្ពុជាទៅថៃនៅតែមាន ទោះបីកង តម្រួតថៃខំយាមល្បាតយ៉ាងណាក្ដី។
