Sam Aol, alias Em, male, was born in 1950 and disappeared. Interviewed with his 41-year-old younger brother, Pich Soeun; his father was Aom Pich, and mother was Hay Srun. Sam Aol has 6 siblings [3 girls + 3 boys], and he was born in Sdao village, Sdao sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Sam Aol studied until grade 7 [in the old system] at Wat Sdao Secondary School. He then dropped out of school because there was a coup to depose Samdach Sihanouk in 1970. After leaving school, Sam Aol went to find a job in Kratie province. He was then employed to burn carbon. After having malaria, Sam Aol returned home. It was in 1974 that Sam Aol volunteered to join the revolution as a KR soldier through Yorn៌s propaganda. When he first joined the revolution, Sam Aol was in O Khvav in Reay Pay sub-district. He was later sent by Angkar to Prey Chhor and the battlefield in order to fight with Lon Nol soldiers; however, no one knew to which battlefield he was sent. In 1975, Sam Aol returned to visit his home village, and told that he was a soldier near Phsar Thom Thmey in Phnom Penh. Sam Aol was responsible for controlling the Cannon Unit. While staying home, he brought four bodyguards with him. At that time, Sam Aol stopped his marine in Thlong Chrao, Peam Chy Kang. After staying home for three nights, he returned to Phnom Penh. It was since leaving at that time that he has been completely disappeared until now. In the KR regime, there were two members in the family who joined the revolution. Two of them were Sam Oeun and Sam Aol, but all of them disappeared. If he was alive, he would come back to home village in order to be reunited with his parents and siblings.
សំអុល ហៅ អែម ភេទប្រុស កើតឆ្នាំ១៩៥០ បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបជា មួយឈ្មោះ ពិជ សឿន អាយុ ៤១ឆ្នាំត្រូវជាប្អូនប្រុស។ សំអុល មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ អ៊ំ ពិជ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ហាយ ស្រ៊ុន មានបងប្អូន ៦នាក់ ស្រី៣ប្រុស៣ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិស្ដៅ ឃុំស្ដៅ ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ សំអុល កាលពីតូចរៀននៅ សាលាអនុវិទ្យាល័យវត្ដស្ដៅក្រោមត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៧ឪចាស់ឱ។ ឈប់រៀននៅ ពេលកើតមានរដ្ឋប្រហារទម្លាក់សមេ្ដចសីហនុ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ពេលឈប់រៀនបានទៅរកការងារធ្វើ នៅខេត្ដ ក្រចេះ ស៊ីឈ្នួលដុតធ្យូង ពេលមានជំងឺគ្រុនចាញ់វិលត្រឡប់មកផ្ទះ វិញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម តាមការឃោសនារបស់ឈ្មោះ យ៉ន ចូលដំបូងនៅត្រឹមអូខ្វាវ សង្កាត់រាយប៉ាយ ក្រោយមកអង្គការបញ្ជូនទៅដល់ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ចូលសមរភូមិវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់ មិនដឹងថា ចូលវាយ នៅសមរភូមិណាខ្លះទេ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឃើញត្រឡប់មកលេង ស្រុក កំណើតបានម្ដង ហើយបានប្រាប់ថា ធ្វើជាយោធានៅ ភ្នំពេញ ម្ដុំផ្សារថ្មី។ សំអុល មានតួនាទីគ្រប់ គ្រងខាងកាំភ្លើងធំ ពេលមានលេងឃើញមានអង្គរក្ស៤នាក់មកជាមួយដែរ កាលហ្នឹង បើកម៉ារីនមក ឈប់ត្រឹមថ្លុកជ្រៅ ពាមជីកង មកសម្រាកបាន៣ យប់ត្រឡប់ទៅភ្នំពេញវិញ។ ក្រោយមកទៀតមិន បានទទួល ដំណឹងពីឈ្មោះ សំអុល ទៀតទេ បានឈឹងរហូតមកដល់ពេលនេះ ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមមានបង ពីរនាក់បានចូលបម្រើចលនាខែ្មរក្រហម ទី១ឈ្មោះ សំ អឿន ទីឈ្មោះ សំអុល បាត់ខ្លួនទាំងពីរនាក់ បើសិន ជានៅរស់ពិតជាមករកស្រុកកំណើតវិញដើម្បីជួបជុំឪពុកម្ដាយ
