Oum Ban's wife called Pen Yean. He married to his wife when he was 20 years old. Pen Yean is now 61 years old. He has 8 children. His father called Oum Men, but he died. However, his mother is still alive. He used to witnessed people were sent to Sang prison in the Khmer Rouge time. Recently, he does not have trouble with slepping. He felt that he has no future. He thinks that bringing the Khmer Rouge leaders to trial is not about revenge because it is required by law.
ប្រពន្ធរបស់អ៊ុំ បានឈ្មោះ ប៉ែន យាន។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយប្រពន្ធរបស់គាត់នៅពេលដែលគាត់មានអាយុ២០ឆ្នាំ។ ប៉ែន យានលូវនេះមានអាយុ៦១ឆ្នាំហើយ។ គា់តមានកូន៨នាក់។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះអ៊ុំ មែន ប៉ុនែ្ដស្លាប់ហើយ។ ម្ដាយរបស់គាត់នៅរស់ទេសព្វថៃ្ងនេះ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឃើញគេចាប់មនុស្សទៅដាក់គុកសង្ឃនៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន នេះគាត់មិនមានការលំបាកក្នុងការទទួលដំណេកទេ ប៉ុនែ្ដអស់សង្ឃឹមទៅថៃ្ងអនាគត។ គាត់យល់ថា ការបញ្ជូនមេដឹកនាំខែ្មរក្រហមទៅកាត់ទោសមិនមែនជាការសងសឹកទេ ប៉ុនែ្ដវាជាតំរូវការរបស់ច្បាប់។
