On January 11, 1974, Khmer Communist in Region 37 established a committee without any assistance and support from north Vietnamese administration. Nowadays in the upper region there are about 2,500 soldiers, but they still make an urgent request for about 2,400 reinforcement from Thai bandits in an attempt to attack national military position in Kampong Sila, especially to cut off national road 4.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១១-មករា-១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដនៅតំបន់៣៧ បានរៀប ចំគណៈកម្មាភិបាលថ្មីដោយមិនបាច់សុំជំនួយ និងការគាំទ្រពីយៀកកុង យួនខាងជើងទៀតឡើយ។ សព្វថ្ងៃនេះនៅតំបន់ខាងលើមានកងទ័ព ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល២,៥០០នាក់ ហើយកំពុងតែសុំទ័ពជំនួយពីទ័ពព្រៃរបស់ថៃប្រហែល២,៤០០នាក់ទៀត ដើម្បីឱ្យចូលមកជួយវាយ ប្រហារទីតាំងយើងនៅកំពង់សីលា ពិសេសវាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤តែម្ដង។
