On 10 october 1973, about 700 khmer rebels from Prek Dambok settled down in Tang Reussei of Roka Chunleng sub-district, Khsach Kandal district. Some of them hide themselve in Sanlong village of Sanlong sub-district, Khsach Kandal district. They were supported troop of the soldiers who were in action in Kandal province. They attempted to attack national troop in Prek Tamak.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៧០០នាក់ បានធើ្វចលនាចេញពីព្រែកតំបូក ចូលមកឈប់សម្រាកនៅភូមិ តាំងឫស្សី សង្កាត់រកាជនឹ្លង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល។ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមខាងលើនេះបានបំបែកគ្នាចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងភូមិសន្លុង សង្កាត់សន្លុង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ពួកនេះជាកងទ័ពជំនួយដល់កងទ័ពដែលកំពុង ប្រតិបតិ្ដការនៅខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកវាមានគោលបំណងវាយចូល ទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅព្រែកតាម៉ាក់។
