On 5 october 1973, about 200 khmer rebels armed force, under the command of Phan Sorn, departed from Baseth sub-district and settled down in Nam village, Roka sub-district, Samdech Chourn Nat district, Kandal province. They were waiting for their supported troop.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី០៥ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល២០០ នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការរបស់ឈ្មោះ ផាន់ សន បានចេញពីសង្កាត់បសែត ចូលមកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងភូមិពាម សង្កាត់ រកា ស្រុកសមេ្ដចជួនណាត ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកខ្មាំងដែលសិ្ថតនៅត្រង់ចំណុចខាងលើនេះ គឺរង់ចាំកងជំនួយវាចុះមក បន្ថែម។
