Nhaung Se was a former deputy chief of squad in platoon 2, company 101, battalion 430, regiment 20, division 2, positioned in zone 405, region 33. The battalion 430 had 330 soldiers, equipped with various weapons, and its commander was a Bo. This unit was responsible for watching along national road 4 to ambush national army's trucks which travelled from Kampong Speu to Phnom Penh. Their philosophy was to inspire people and army to grow crops hard and to loathe feudalism, especially republic regime. The people in this area were not thrilled about communist regime and 80% of them attempled to surrender to republic regime.
ឈ្មោះញូង សែ អតីតជាមេក្រុមរងនៃកងអនុសេនាតូច ២ អនុសេនាធំ ១០១ វរសេនាតូច ៤៣០ វរសេនាធំ ២០ កងពលទី ២ ប្រចាំភូមិភាគ ៤០៥ តំបន់ ៣៣។ នៅក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច ៤៣០ នេះមានកងទ័ពចំនួន៣៣០នាក់ ដែលដឹកនាំដោយឈ្មោះ បូ មេបញ្ជាការ និងប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធុន។ កងនេះមាននាទីត្រៀមចាំនៅតាម បណ្ដោយផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤ ដើម្បីបាញ់ឡានកងទ័ពជាតិពីកំពង់ស្ពឺមក ភ្នំពេញ។ មនោគមន៍វិជ្ជារបស់ពួកវាគឺ បំផុសឱ្យប្រជាជន យុទ្ធជនខិតខំ បង្កបង្កើនផលស្អប់របបសក្ដិភូមិជាពិសេសរបបសាធារណរដ្ឋ។ ប្រជាជន នៅក្នុងតំបន់នេះមិនសប្បាយចិត្ដនឹងរបបកុម្មុយនិស្ដបែបនេះទេ ពីព្រោះ មានប្រជាជនជាង៨០ភាគរយ មានបំណងរត់មកចូលរួបរួមជាមួយ របបសាធារណរដ្ឋខ្មែរវិញ។
