Som Tin was a combatant in battalion 137, region 32, south west zone. He used to be indoctrinated with politics {revolutionary youth} in 1970. The battalion 137, which was located near Mount Sambour, were compased of 216 combatants, equipped with varrous weapon. And Morn was a commander. The enemies intended to capture PP. Cows and baffalo carts were used to carry optional instrument. The soldiers were not happy to live with Khmer communist because they were separeted from their families, parents, wives and children.
សំ ទីន ជាយុទ្ធជននៅកងវរសេនាតូច១៣៧ តំបន់៣២ ភូមិភាគ និរតី។ ធ្លាប់បានទទួលការអប់រំពីអង្គការកុម្មុយនិស្ដផ្នែកនយោបាយ «យុវជនបដិវត្ដ» នៅក្នុង១៩៧០។ កងវរសេនាតូច១៣៧ តាំង នៅក្បែរភ្នំសំបួរ ដែលមានកងទ័ពទាំងអស់២១៦នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្រោម បញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ម៉ន និងប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធុន។ ពួកខ្មាំងមាន បំណងវាយយកទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ការដឹកជញ្ជូនសម្ភារផេ្សងៗក្នុងតំបន់ ៣២នេះ គឺប្រើរទេះគោ ឬក្របី។ ទឹកចិត្ដយុទ្ធជនខ្មាំងមានការមិន សប្បាយចិត្ដនឹងការរស់នៅជាមួយពួកខ្មាំងកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ពីព្រោះពួកគេ បែកពីគ្រួសារ «ពុកម្ដាយ ប្រពន្ធកូន។
