On October 18-22, 1973, about 100 armed Khmer rebels in mixed uniforms, who were under a commander named Ta Akinet travelled from Srey Santhor district, Kampong Cham province and deployed surrounding our national force positioned in Prek Krabao village at T960-880. The Khmer rebels attempted to attack against all the national force position and to block them from backing up their force in Vihear Suor.Especially, they could collect foodstuffs from villagers in the region in order to supply their forces, who were surrounding National forces in Vihear Suor.
ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រហែល១០០នាក់ ក្នុងសម្លៀកបំពាក់ចម្រុះ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ គ្រប់ដៃ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការ តា អគ្គីនេត្រ បានធ្វើចលនាចុះពីស្រុក ស្រីសន្ធរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម មករាយគ្នាក្នុងភូមិព្រែកក្របៅ ត្រង់ចំណុច វេតេ៩៦០-៨៨០។ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមមានបំណងព័ទ្ធកងទ័ពយើងគ្រប់ទីតាំង ដើម្បីកុំឱ្យជួយអន្ដរាគមន៍នៅវិហារសួគ៌កើត ពិសេសពួកវាងាយ ស្រួលនូវការដើរប្រមូលស្បៀងពីអ្នកស្រុកផ្ដល់ឱ្យកងទ័ពវាកំពុង តែប្រតិបត្ដិការសឹកនៅវិហារសួគ៌។
