On November 3, 1973 about 300 armed Khmer rebels in mix uniforms left from Sanlong village and Tmei village in Sanlong sub-district, Khsach Kandal district. Then, they deployed in Ta Rot village in Prek Ampil sub-district, Khsach Kandal district "Vihear Suor". These Khmer rebels attempted to move their forces across Muk Kampoul district "Phnom Doel" by boat.
នៅថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ មាន ស្លៀកពាក់ចម្រុះគ្នា ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភូមិ សន្លុង និងភូមិថ្មី ក្នុងសង្កាត់សន្លុង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល រួចចូលមក រាយគ្នានៅភូមិតារត់ សង្កាត់ព្រែកអំពិល ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល «វិហា សួគ៌»។ គោលបំណងរបស់ខ្មាំងប្រុងរំកិលកងទ័ពវា ដោយឆ្លងទូកកាត់ តាមស្រុកមុខកំពូល «ភ្នំដិល»។
