On October 17, 1973, about 450 Khmer rebels under the commander named Thaong Saravuth traveled from Kraing Tei village, Thmey sub-district, and hid themselves in Kakk forests in Prey Roka sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. About 150 special commaders equiped with weapon and hand grenades, under the commade of Sek Son and Duong Duch traveled from Thmey village in Bakou sub-district and hid themselves in Troey Neay village, Prey Roka sub-district, Kandal Stung district. They attempted to attack on the national force in Kampong Tuol village and Wat Toek Thla.
ថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៤៥០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជារបស់ ថោង សាវុធ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើប បាន ធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភូមិក្រាំងតី សង្កាត់ថ្មី មកលាក់ខ្លួននៅព្រៃកក់ សង្កាត់ព្រែករកា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ហើយខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រហែល១៥០នាក់ផេ្សងទៀត ជាកុម្មង់ដូរអត្ដឃាត ក្រោមបញ្ជា របស់ឈ្មោះ សេក សន និង ឌួង ឌុច ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធពិសេស និងគ្រាប់បែក ចេញពីភូមិថ្មី សង្កាត់បាគូ បានមកបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅភូមិ ត្រើយនាយ សង្កាត់ព្រែករកា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង មានបំណង ឆ្លងស្ទឹងមកវាយកងទព័ជាតិយើងនៅភូមិកំពង់ទួល និងវត្ដទឹកថ្លា។
