Voa Yin, alias Cha, male, aged 25, disappeared. Interviewed with his 47-year-old younger brother Voa Yoeun; Yin៌s father was Voa Yun and mother was Som Ry. Yin had 8 siblings [5 boys + 3 girls], and he was born in Khloy 3 village, Mien sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Yin studied until grade 5 [in the old system] in O Da High School. He then left school when there was a demonstration to depose King Sihanouk. While dropping out of school for three months, there were propaganda and National Liberation Front. It was in 1970 that Yin volunteered to serve as a Khmer Rouge soldier through King Sihanouk៌s call for Beijing. At that time, there were many young men and women joining the revolution including Sren in the village. When first joining the revolution, Yin was assigned to be stationed only in Prey Chhor district, and he wasn៌t sent to the battlefield. It was about two years later that Yin came to visit his home village and told his parents and siblings that "Do whatever Angkar assigned, and don៌t deny". While Yin visited home, it៌s known that he was the chief of the division in 14th Regiment. At that time, Yin fought with Lon Nol soldiers until getting the victory in 1975. While marching and fighting into Phnom Penh, Yin injured in his hand and then sent to receive treatment in Kampong Cham province until recovery from his injury. After recovery, Yin was sent back to work in Phnom Penh. In 1976-1977, Yin came to visit his home village again. After returning, he has completely disappeared until now. It was in 1977 that Angkar arrested many Khmer Rouge cadres, so Yin, who was the chief of the division, must have been arrested by Angkar as well. According to his background, Yin was the chief of the division in 310th Division Office, and he was the arrested by Angkar on January 22, 1977 while Yoeun had also volunteered to join the revolution since 1973. When being sent to the battlefield, Yoeun met his elder brother, but they៌re in different units. It was in 1975 that Angkar dispersed military forces in all zones to work in different places; thus, Yoeun no longer saw Yin, and he didn៌t know when his brother was assigned by Angkar because, during the Khmer Rouge regime, especially in 1977, Khmer Rouge cadres arrested to detain and kill other Khmer Rouge cadres. Yoeun was sent by Angkar to work as a Kampong Cham Port worker while some were assigned to Sihanouk Port; in addition, soldiers became workers in Ministry of Commerce.
វ័រ យិន ហៅ ចារ ភេទប្រុស អាយុ២៥ឆ្នាំ បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបជាមួយ ឈ្មោះ វ័រ យឿន អាយុ៤៧ ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាប្អូនប្រុស។ យិន មានឪពុក ឈ្មោះ វ័រ យុន ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ សំ រី មានបងប្អូន៨មាក់ប្រុស ៥ស្រី៣ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិឃ្លោកទី៣ ឃុំមៀន ស្រុកពៃ្រ ឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ យិន កាលពី រៀនបានរហូតទៅដល់វិទ្យា ល័យអូរដា ដល់ថ្នាក់ទី៥ឪចាស់ឱ។ ឈប់រៀននៅពេលកើតមានបាតុកម្ម ទម្លាក់សមេ្ដចសីហនុ។ ឈប់រៀនបានតែបីខែ ស្របពេល នោះមានការឃោសនានិងបង្កើតរណសិរ្ស ដើម្បីរំដោះជាតិ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ យិន ក៏បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលបម្រើជាយោធាខែ្មរ ក្រហមតាមការ ប្រកាសរបស់សមេ្ដចសីហនុ ពីប្រទេស ប៉េកាំងមក។ កាលនោះមានយុវជនជាច្រើននាក់បាននាំគ្នាចូល មានឈ្មោះ សេ្រន នៅក្នុងភូមិក៏ចូលដែរ។ ចូលដំបូងនៅត្រឹម ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ចូលសមរភូមិបាន ប្រហែលជាពីរឆ្នាំបានត្រឡប់មក លេងស្រុកកំណើត ហើយបានប្រាប់ឪពុកម្ដាយបងប្អូនថា អង្គការ ចាត់ តាំងឱ្យធ្វើអីធ្វើតាមគេទៅកុំជំទាស់។ យិន ពេលមកលេង ស្រុកកំណើតដឹងថា គាត់មានឋានៈជាប្រធាន កងធំនៅក្នុងកងវរៈ ១៤ កាលនោវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់ រហូតបានទទួល ជ័យជម្នះនៅឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៥។ យិន មុនវាយចូលកាន់កាប់ទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញ ត្រូវរបួសចំដៃ ត្រូវអង្គភាពបញ្ជូនទៅព្យាបាលខេត្ដ កំពង់ចាម ពេលជាសះស្បើយអង្គការបញ្ជូនទៅធ្វើការនៅ ភ្នំពេញវិញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦៧៧ យិន បានមកលេង ស្រុកកំណើតម្ដងទៀតពេលត្រឡប់ទៅវិញបានឈឹងរហូតមក ដល់ពេលនេះ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៧ អង្គការបានចាប់កម្មាភិបាលខែ្មរ ក្រហមជាច្រើន ដូចនេះ ឈ្មោះ យិន ធ្លាប់ជាប្រធានកងធំំដែល ពិតជាអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនដែរ។ បើតាមប្រវត្ដិរូប យិន នៅមន្ទីរកង ពល៣១០ មានឋានៈជាប្រធានកងធំ អង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅថៃ្ងទី២២ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។ រីឯ ឈ្មោះ យឿន បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលធ្វើជា យោធាខែ្មរក្រហមតាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ពេលឡើងទៅសមរភូមិ ធ្លាប់បានជួបបងឈ្មោះ យិន ម្ដងម្កាល ដែរ តែនៅអង្គភាព ផេ្សងគ្នា។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ អង្គការបានបំបែកកម្លាំងយោធាគ្រប់ ភូមិភាគទាំងអស់ ឱ្យទៅធ្វើការកនែ្លងផេ្សងៗ ដូចនេះ លែងបានជួប បង យិន ទៀត មិនដឹងថា អង្គការចាប់គាត់នៅ ពេលណាទេ ព្រោះនៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម ជាពិសេសឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ចាប់កម្មាភិបាលគ្នាឯងជាច្រើន យកទៅដាក់គុកនិងសម្លាប់ ចោល។ យឿន អង្គការបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅធ្វើជាកម្មករកំពង់ផែ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ខ្លះ ទៅកំពង់ផែក្រុងព្រះសីហនុ យោធាក្លាយ ជាកម្មករនៅក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម។
