Lim Leangheng was born in Phsar Bekchan, Bekchan sub-district, Angsnuol district, Kandal province. The person used to be a chief of saboteur in Phnom Penh, but was arrested on 15 March 1974 at the North of Lork Sang hospital. In 1972, the person was detained in prison for a year and then fled to a jungle where the person was educated by Kung to be a saboteur. Lim Leangheng had involved many activities in Phnom Penh such as hiding weapons, buying grenades and investigating on an important place in order to throw grenades into that place.
លឹម លាងហេង កើតនៅផ្សារបែកចាន សង្កាត់បែកចាន ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ជាមេបណ្ដាញវិចេ្ឆទករនៅភ្នំពេញដែលត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួន នៅថ្ងៃ១៥ មីនា ១៩៧៤នៅខាងជើងពេទ្យលោកសង្ឃ។ ១៩៧២ ធ្លាប់ជាប់គុកពីបទទទួលខ្មាំងរយៈពេល១ឆ្នាំ ក្រោយមកក៍រត់ចូលព្រៃទទួល ការអប់រំឱ្យធ្វើវិចេ្ឆទកម្មពីឈ្មោះគង់។ សាម៉ីខ្លួនបានចូលមកភ្នំពេញនៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ធ្វើសកម្មភាពបណ្ដាញវិចេ្ឆទករលាក់អាវុធ ទិញគ្រាប់បែក ស៊ើបរកទីតាំងសំខាន់ដើម្បី់គប់គ្រាប់បែកធ្វើឱ្យចលាចលក្នុងទីក្រុង។
