On 09 October 1973, about 300 equipped guns Khmer rebels came from Khngan moutain in Kampong Trach district, they hid themselves in Strench from VS228-660 to Trapaing Pring train station. Specially they made up heavy artillery position in Kaun Sat sub-district, Keb district, Kampot province. The enemy's purpose was to fight with our the national force position in Kampong Kang.
ថ្ងៃទី០៩ ខែតុលា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន៣០០នាក់ប្រដាប់ ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចេញពីភ្នំក្ងាន ស្រុកកំពង់ត្រាច ចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួនតាមលេណដ្ឋាន ចាប់ពីចំណុចវ៉េអេស រហូតទល់ស្ថានីយ៍រថភ្លើងត្រពាំងព្រីង ពិសេសគឺតាំងកាំភ្លើងគ្រប់ធុន ក្នុងសង្កាត់កូនសត្វ ស្រុកកែប ខេត្ដកំពត។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំង គឺប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពយើង ដែលប្រចាំការនៅកំពង់កង់។
