Sen chea defected to the society at Kakor district, Pursat province on 4 December 1973. Before, he was a deputy of financial and economic in region 35, zone 304, his duty was to contact North Youn Viet Cong. He used to study politics, cadre course and joined communist youth. Composition of communist committee in zone 304 were as following:
1. Kuy Thun called Thuch (Zone 304 commisioner) 2. Theng (Zone deputy and politic commissar) 3. Sreng (Deputy commissar of politics) 4. Doeun (Politics consultant) 5. Tan Try (politics consultant) 6. Sok (Member responsible for region 35) 7. Tol (Member responsible for region 31). In zone 304, there were seven regiments: 307, 305, 303, 302, 301, 201, 309 and each regiment had 972 soldiers. Comrade Hoeung, Beng, Chorn, Lorn, Sean, Thin were commanders but deputy commander for regiment 301 was unknown. Zone 304 was divided into six regions, such as region 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 103. Region 103 was a special region because central party member worked there, and simple people and all staff didn't have access to this region, except the regional member. Khmer rouge leaders didn't wear a badge, but they were recognised by weapons using. - District committee used EK Stal (Austrian Pistol) - Region committee used Chinese pistol - Central party committee, who were khmer from Hanoi and were not well educated, used Russian pistol (K.59). They used cyclist messengers to contact each other, but walky talking were used in battle. They took much care of food and weapons, and transportation were carried out by canoes from Kampong Thma to Kampong Klang. Especially they paid a lot of attention to politic ideology to brainwash the people. There were two people in the politics ideology sector. 1. Secret agent's educated separately for people who were aware of communist. 2. Open agent's for common people. They indoctrinated people with these expressions struggling, bearing all hardship, revoluting for people, wiping out American amere and Republic regime and establishing a government for people. The people strongly believed in khmer communist because they were foolished by khmer rouge's propaganda. Some people weren't content with communist regime, but they kept mum for the sack of safety. Perhapes 60% of the people supported the king Sihanuk or Republic. In 1974 there wasn't a single action against khmer communist because they issued a slogan that, there were only revolution and non revolution. If they did join revolution, they were called traitor. ឈ្មោះនេះបានចូលរួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញនៅថ្ងៃទី០៤ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ ក្នុងស្រុកក្រគរ ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់ មានតួនាទីជាប្រធានសេដ្ឋ កិច្ច និងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ ប្រចាំតំបន់៣៥ ភូមិភាគ៣០៤ ហើយមានភារកិច្ច ទាក់ទងជាមួយយួនយៀកកុងខាងជើង។ ជននេះធ្លាប់បានសិក្សាផ្នែក នយោបាយ, ផ្នែកកម្មាភិបាលនឹងចូលជាសមាជិកយុវជនកុម្មុយនិស្ដ កម្ពុជា។ សមាសភាពនៃគណៈកម្មាការខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដនៅក្នុងភូមិភាគ ៣០៤ មានៈ ១- កុយ ធួន ហៅ ធុច មេបញ្ជាការភូមិភាគ៣០៤។ ២- ថេង អនុប្រធានភូមិភាគ និងស្នងការនយោបាយ។ ៣- សេ្រង ស្នងការនយោបាយរង។ ៤- ឌឿន ទីប្រឹក្សានយោបាយ។ ៥- តាន់ ទ្រី ទីប្រឹក្សានយោបាយ។ ៦-សុក សមាជិកទទួលបន្ទុកតំបន់៣៥។ ៧- តុល សមាជិកទទួលបន្ទុកតំបន់៣១ នៅក្នុងភូមិភាគ៣០៤នេះ មានទ័ពទាំងអស់៧កងវរសេនាធំ គឺ(៣០៧, ៣០៥, ៣០៣, ៣០២, ៣០១, ២០១, ៣០៩) ដែលក្នុងមួយកងៗមានកម្លាំងចំនួន៩៧២ នាក់ ហើយមានឈ្មោះមិត្ដ ហឿង, បេង, ចន ឡន, ស៊ាន, ធិន ជាមេបញ្ជាការផ្ទាល់ ហើយចំណែកមេបញ្ជាការកងវរសេនាធំ៣០១ មិនស្គាល់ឈ្មោះ។ ភូមិភាគ៣០៤ ចែកចេញជា៦តំបន់ គឺមានៈ តំបន់៣០, ៣១, ៣២, ៣៣, ១០៣, ៣៥។ ចំពោះតំបន់១០៣ គឺជាតំបន់ពិសេស ពីព្រោះជាមូលដ្ឋានសម្រាប់ពួកមជ្ឈឹមបក្សដើរ ធើ្វសកម្មភាព ហើយដែលមានការហាមឃាត់ដាច់ខាតមិនអោយចេញ ចូលក្នុងតំបន់ ចំពោះប្រជាជនសាមញ្ញ និងសមាជិកទាំងអស់ លើក លែងតែសមាជិកក្នុងតំបន់នេះ។ អ្នកកាន់ការធំៗរបស់ពួកខ្មែរក្រហមគឺគ្មានសកិ្ដពាក់ទេ តែគេអាចសម្គាល់បានទៅតាមការប្រើប្រាស់អាវុធ ដូចជាៈ -គណៈកម្មាធិការស្រុក ប្រើកាំភើ្លងម៉ាកអ៊ែកស្ដាល់ -គណៈ កម្មាធិការតំបន់ ប៉េអាចិន -គណៈកម្មាធិការមជ្ឈឹមបក្សដែលជាខ្មែរ មកពីហាណូយ ហើយមិនសូវចេះអី្វជ្រៅជ្រះទេ ប្រើអាវុធប៉េអារុស្សី (កា-៥៩)។ ចំពោះការទាក់ទងគ្នា ពួកវាប្រើនិរសា ដោយមានម៉ូតូជា មធ្យោបាយ តែបើនៅតាមសមរភូមិវាប្រើទូរស័ព្ទ។ ពួកខ្មាំងយកចិត្ដ ទុកដាក់ចំពោះស្បៀង និងគ្រាប់រំសេវណាស់ ហើយការដឹកស្បៀង និងគ្រាប់រំសេវនេះ គឺពួកវាដឹកតាមកាណូតពីកំពង់ថ្មមកឡើងនៅកំពង់ ឃ្លាំង។ ជាពិសេសទៅទៀត ខ្មាំងយកចិត្ដទុកដាក់ណាស់ខាងផ្នែក មនោគមន៍វិជ្ជានយោបាយ ក្នុងការអប់រំដល់ប្រជាជន ដោយមាន រូបភាពៈ ១-ផ្នែកសម្ងាត់ៈ អប់រំដោយឡែកចំពោះប្រជាជនដែល យល់ពីមាគ៌ារបស់កុម្មុយនិស្ដ។ ២- ផ្នែកចំហរៈ ចំពោះប្រជាជន ធម្មតា។ គេបានអប់រំដោយលើកយកនូវពាក្យតស៊ូ យូរអង្វែង ក្រាំងនូវការលំបាកគ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង ធើ្វបដិវត្ដន៍ដើម្បី ប្រជាជន, វាយបណេ្ដញអាមេរិចកាំង, សកិ្ដភូមិ, របបសាធារណរដ្ឋ ដើម្បី កសាងរដ្ឋអំណាចអោយប្រជាជនវិញ។ ដោយពុលនិងការឃោសនា របស់ពួកវា ហើយម្យ៉ាងទៀតដោយខ្វះការចេះដឹងផងនោះ ធើ្វអោយ ទឹកចិត្ដយុវជនភាគច្រើនបានជឿលើពួកខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដកំរិតខ្ពស់។ ចំពោះអ្នកដែលមិនពេញចិត្ដនឹងរបបកុម្មុយនិស្ដ តែសម្ងំយកសុខ «អាចនិយមសាធារណរដ្ឋ ឬអាចនិយម សីហនុ» គឺមានប្រហែល ៦០ភាគរយ។ នៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ គ្មានសកម្មភាពណាមួយប្រឆាំង នឹងពួកខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដទេ ព្រោះពួកខ្មាំងបានប្រើពាក្យស្លោក១ថាៈ ផ្លូវមាន២ គឺធើ្វបដិវត្ដន៍ និងមិនធើ្វបដិវត្ដន៍ តែបើមិនធើ្វបដិវត្ដន៍ គឺក្បត់ជាតិ។
