On 09 October 1973, about 200 Khmer rebel from Morng district and about 500 Khmer rebels in Battalionៈ105 deployed to stay in Kdat village from UV: 630-023 to UV 647-037. Enemy's operating headquarter was located in Opriel village, Preh Malou sub-district, Bakan district. These enemies were responsible to collect food in order to supply to their forces in this zone, and all people were prohibited to go out from village. The enemy's purpose was to prepare fighting with the national protective position situated along the road ៈ5 from Trapaing Chorng to Svay Daun Keo.
ថ្ងៃទី០៩ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ចេញពីស្រុកម៉ោង ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមកងវរសេនាតូច លេខ១០៥ចំនួន៥០០នាក់ មានជម្រកនៅកោះត្រាច ប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធចម្រុះ បានចូលមករាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅភូមិក្ដាត ចាប់ពីចំណុច អ៊ុយវ៉េ៦៣០-០២៣ រហូតដល់អ៊ុយវ៉េ៦៤៧-០៣៧ ពិសេស ខ្មាំងតាំងពីបញ្ជាការប្រតិបត្ដិការវា នៅភូមិអូរព្រៀល ឃុំព្រះម្លូ ស្រុកបាកាន ខ្មាំងខាងលើមាននាទីប្រមូលស្បៀងផ្ដល់ឱ្យកងទ័ពតាំងនៅភូមិភាគ ហើយហាមប្រជាពលរដ្ឋមិនឱ្យចេញពីភូមិ។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំងប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងការពារជាតិដែលតាំង តាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៥ពី ត្រពាំងជងទៅស្វាយដូនកែវ។
