Sary, alias Pha, male, was born in 1953 in O Daun Nha village, Trapeang Preah sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. Sary disappeared, so interviewed with his 67-year-old mother Leng Yem. Yem said that "Sary was short and dark. Sary had straight hair, and he was polite and had a scar on his eye. Sary had 5 siblings [3 girls + 2 boys], and he was the first child. Sary joined the revolution on June 18, 1972 through Hong, the village chief. When joining revolution, Sary along with Moeun and Nhor in the village also joined the revolution and they then became soldiers in the region no. 72. Sary once sent a letter to his home, stating that he was working near Tuol Tum Poung pagoda. Sary never returned home to visit his family, but sent only a letter. It was since sending a letter to his family for only one time that Sary has disappeared until these days while Yem, during the Khmer Rouge regime, was assigned to take care of children, and her husband passed away because of illness in 1977; in addition, one of her children was shot to death by Khmer Rouge. Yem doesn៌t want to remind all what happened in Khmer Rouge regime because she felt painful of losing her child husband; in addition, everyone in the family was separated while the rest of her children were assigned to mobile work brigade, and they could meet each other every 10-20 days. In addition, there wasn៌t enough food, eating only rice gruel. It was until now that there were no hopes that Sary survived because he would return home if he survived.
សារី ហៅផា ភេទប្រុស កើតឆ្នាំ១៩៥៣ កើតនៅភូមិអូរដូនញា ឃុំត្រពាំងព្រះ ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ សារី បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបសម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយ ឡេង យ៉ែម អាយុ៦៧ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាម្ដាយ។ យ៉ែម និយាយថាឪ សារី មានរាងទាប ខ្មៅសណែ្ដកបាយ សក់ស្លូត សំដីនិយាយធម្មតាមិនកាច ហើយមានសំឡាកនៅលើភ្នែក។ សារី មានបងប្អូន៥នាក់ ស្រី៣នាក់ ប្រុស២នាក់ ហើយសារី ជាកូនទី១។ សារី ចូលរួមបដិវត្ដន៍នៅថៃ្ង១៨ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ តាមរយៈ ហុង ជាប្រធានភូមិ។ ពេលដែលសារី ចូលបដិវត្ដន៍គឺមានឈ្មោះ មឿន, ញ៉ ដែលនៅក្នុងភូមិចូលជាមួយ ហើយធ្វើជា យោធាតំបន់ វរៈ៧២។ សារី ធ្លាប់ផ្ញើរសំបុត្រមកម្ដងថានៅធ្វើការនៅវត្ដ ទួលទំពូង។ សារី មិនដែលមកលេងផ្ទះទេ ហើយផ្ញើរសំបុត្រមក តែម្ដងហ្នឹងគឺបាត់ដំណឹងរហូតដល់សព្វថៃ្ង។ ចំណែក យ៉ែម នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហមគេឱ្យមើលកុមារ ចំណែកប្ដីរបស់គាត់ គឺស្លាប់ដោយសារជំងឺនៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៧ ហើយស្លាប់កូនម្នាក់ប៉ុល ពត យកទៅបាញ់ចោល។ យ៉ែម មិនចង់រំលឹកពីរឿងរ៉ាវនៅ ក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហមទេ ព្រោះធ្វើគាត់ឈឺចាប់បាត់បង់កូន ស្លាប់កូននិងប្ដី កូនរស់នៅមិនជុំគ្នា កូនដែលនៅសល់គេឱ្យទៅកង ចល័ត ១០២០ថៃ្ងជួបមុខគ្នាម្ដង ហើយរបបហូបចុកក៏មិន គ្រប់គ្រាន់ ហូបតែបបរ។ មកដល់សព្វថៃ្ង យ៉ែម គ្មានសង្ឃឹមថា សារី នៅរស់ទេ បើសិនជានៅរស់ប្រាកដជា ត្រឡប់មកផ្ទះ។
