On 10 october 1973, 500 khmer rebels armed forces, under the command of son equipped with 2 of 30mm machine gun, departed from Veal village to deploy in Srah Kra Chan pagoda of Sen Dei sub-district, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu, They attempted to attack national military strategy training center in Ampe Phnom base.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែលជា៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ជាពិសេសមានកាំភើ្លងយន្ដ៣០ម.ម ២ដើម សិ្ថតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សុន បានធើ្វសឹកចេញពីភូមិវាល មករាយគ្នាលាក់ខ្លួនស្នាក់នៅក្នុងវត្ដស្រះក្រច័ន្ទ, សង្កាត់សែនដី, ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។ គោលបំណងរបស់ពួកវា គឺប្រុងវាយប្រហារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលក្បួនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រកងទ័ពជាតិនៅបន្ទាយអំពែភ្នំ។
