On 25 september 1973, 300 khmer rebels armed force consisted of Cambodian and Khmer Islam, equipped with 2 of 82mm mortars, 2 of 60mm mortars, and 15 of B40 infiltrated in Lach sub-district, Bakarn district, Pursat province. Together with some other troops from Kravanh, they digged trenches and settled down in O Chreouv village of Sar Roleach sub-district, Bakarn district, Pursat province. They attempted to attack national defensive forces in Pursat province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចម្រុះខ្មែរ និង ចាមចំនួន៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធដូចជាៈ កាំភើ្លងត្បាល់ ៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រចំនួន២ដើម, ៦០មម២ដើម និងបេ៤០ ១៥ដើម ព្រមទាំងអាវុធដៃផេ្សងៗទៀត បានចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងសង្កាត់លាច ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់។ ហើយពួកវាមួយចំនួនទៀតបានចេញមកពីភ្នំក្រវ៉ាញ ហើយលួចមកតាំងជម្រក និងជីកលេណដ្ឋានការពារខ្លួន យ៉ាងមាំនៅភូមិអូជ្រៅ ក្នុងសង្កាត់សរលាច ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍ សាត់ ក្នុងគោលបំណងប្រុងវាយប្រហារខ្សែក្រវ៉ាត់កងទ័ពជាតិនៅខេត្ដ ពោធិ៍សាត់។
