On October 13, 1973, there were about 300 modern equipped-gun Khmer rebels under the commander named Mit Kann traveled from Koulen mountain and hid themselves in a place about 1.000 meters from South of Bao mountain in Sambour sub-disrict, Preah Net Preah district, Battambang province.
ថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ មិត កាន់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធយ៉ាងទំនើប បាន ធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភ្នំគូលែន ឆ្ពោះទៅកាន់ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង កាត់តាមភ្នំ រំដួល ហើយចូលមកស្នាក់នៅលាក់ខ្លួនចម្ងាយប្រហែល១.០០០ម៉ែត្រ ខាងត្បូងភ្នំបៅ សង្កាត់សំបួរ ស្រុកព្រះនេត្រព្រះ ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។
