After the attack on Battalion 112 in Koh Kralor on August 18, 1973, 350 Khmer rebels' morale were deteriorated considerably because of the bombarding and fire shell by National Forces resulted in 100 deaths, 150 injured and weapons were destroyed seriously. Approximately 100 survived Khmer rebel soldiers divided themselves into 3 groups, and deployed in villages. The first group, there were 30 persons, under command of Proeung in Khvav village. The second group was under the command of Han in Kraing Lveat village. The third group was under the command of Chham in Ro Nuot village. So Chim aka Ta Chek, commander, and Nhanh aka Len, a deputy commander of battalion 112, were conscripting sub-district militias to add to battalion 112 elements.
ក្រោយពីការវាយប្រហារនៅកោះក្រឡរកាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែសីហា កងទ័ពភូមិភាគខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមនៃកងវរសេនាតូច១១២ ប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ នៅក្នុងស្រុកកោះក្រឡរ បានធ្លាក់ទឹកចិត្ដយ៉ាងសម្បើម មកពីការខូច ខាតដោយមានស្លាប់១០០នាក់ របួសធ្ងន់ និងស្រាល១៥០នាក់ និងខូចខាតអាវុធយ៉ាងដំណំមកពីការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែក និងបាញ់ផ្លោងពី សំណាក់កងទ័ពជាតិ។ កងទ័ពដែលនៅសេសសល់ប្រហែល១០០នាក់ ត្រូវបានបំបែកគ្នាជា៣ក្រុម រាយគ្នានៅតាមភូមិនានា។ ក្រុមទី១មាន គ្នាប្រហែល៣០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ព្រឿន នៅក្នុងភូមិក្វាវ។ ក្រុមទី២ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ហាន នៅភូមិក្រាំងល្វាត និងក្រុមទី៣ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ឆាំ នៅភូមិរនួត។ មេបញ្ជាការកងវរសេនាតូច ខាងលើឈ្មោះ សូជីម ហៅ តាចេត បញ្ជាការរងឈ្មោះ ញាញ់ ហៅ ឡេន កំពុងតែជ្រើសរើសឈ្លបឃុំទៅបំពេញចំនួន។
