Interviewed with his younger brother called Yim Man at the age of 68 years old who is now living in Prek Brasap Village Prek Brasap Subdistrict Prek Brasap District Kratie Province.

Yim Meng, male, was born in year of the Rabbit in Morha Siek Krom village, Morha Khnhaung sub-district, Koh Sotin district, Kampong Cham province. Meng disappeared, so interviewed with his 68-year-old elder brother, Yim Man, living in Prek Brasap village, Prek Brasab sub-district, Prek Brasap district, Kratie province. Man said that Meng became a monk and studied in Marha Siek pagoda for six years. It was before one year that Meng became a monk. He then came to help carry carbon, sand and earth with Man. After that, Lon Nol soldiers captured people to serve as soldiers, and Meng ran swimming back to Kampong Cham. When arriving in Kampong Cham, Meng joined the revolution as a Khmer Rouge soldier in 1974. After being the Khmer Rouge soldier, Meng came to visit home with one of his friends. At that time, Meng returned home on foot. It was since that time that Meng has disappeared until now; in addition, Man has no hopes that he៌s alive. Man, during the Khmer Rouge Regime, was assigned to charcoal oven, and he lived separately from his family. In the Khmer Rouge regime, there wasn៌t enough food, eating only rice gruel mixed with bindweed.
យឹម ម៉េង ភេទប្រុស កើតឆ្នាំថោះ កើតនៅភូមិមហាសៀក ឃុំមហាខ្ញូង ស្រុកកោះសូទិន ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ម៉េង បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបសម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយ យឹម ម៉ន អាយុ៦៨ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាបងប្រុស រស់នៅភូមិព្រែកប្រសប់ ឃុំព្រែកប្រសប់ ស្រុកព្រែកប្រសប់ ខេត្ដក្រចេះ។ ម៉ន និយាយថា ម៉េង បួសរៀននៅវត្ដមហាសៀកបាន៦វស្សា។ ម៉េង សឹកមុនរដ្ឋប្រហារមួយឆ្នាំ ក៏ទៅជួយរែកធ្យូង ខ្សាច់ ដី ជាមួយនឹងម៉ន ក្រោយមកយោធារបស់លន់ នល់ ចាប់ធ្វើទាហានក៏រត់ហែលទឹកមកកំពង់ចាមវិញ មកដល់កំពង់ចាមស្រាប់តែចូលជាមួយយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤។ ទៅធ្វើជាយោធាបាន១ ឆ្នាំក៏ត្រឡប់មកលេងផ្ទះម្ដង ជាមួយមិត្ដភក្ដិម្នាក់ ដែលកាលហ្នឹងគឺម៉េងដើរមក តាំងពីពេលហ្នឹងគឺបាត់ ដំណឹងរបស់ម៉េងរហូតដល់សព្វថៃ្ង ហើយម៉ន ក៏មិនសង្ឃឹមថាម៉េងនៅរស់ដែរ។ ចំណែកម៉ន នៅក្នុង សម័យខែ្មរក្រហមគេឱ្យនៅឡធ្យូង ហើយការរស់នៅគឺបែកពីគ្រួសារស្នាក់នៅរៀងខ្លួន ចំពោះរបប អាហារគឺមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ទេ បបរលាយជាមួយត្រកួន។
