Chuk Sarom was born in Prek Reusey village, Takhmoa sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. The person was apointed by Vietnamese to be a chief of Royal commune and was expelled as a common people later on. Because of the expelling, Chuk Sarom with other 24 followers defected to Lon Nol's troop on 22 August 1974 at military authority of Kampong Cham and brought along with weapons and document. The person reported on an activities of Khmer Rouge oppression of the North Vietnamese who fled to Stung Treng and brought along with food and military supply to Ratanak Kiri, of Khmer Rouge's cultural social action and an activity of National Angkar Union and National Government Union, leading by Sihanouk, Ben Nut, Kieu Samphan, Ieng Sary, Hu Yun, Ho Nim.
ជុក សារុំ កើតនៅភូមិព្រែកឫស្សី សង្កាត់តាខ្មៅ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ជាចៅសង្កាត់រាជានុកូលដែលត្រូវបានយួនតែងតាំង ហើយក៍ត្រូវហូតងារឱ្យមកជាជនសាមញ្ញវិញ។ ដោយមានការឈឺចាប់ ក៍បានភៀសខ្លួនចូលលន់ ណុលនៅស្ទឹងត្រែង នៅថ្ងៃ២២ សីហា ១៩៧៤ នៅអាជ្ញាធរយោធាខេត្ដកំពង់ចាមដោយនាំមកនូវអាវុធ ឯកសារនិងបក្ខពួកចំនួន២៤នាក់។ សាម៉ីខ្លួនបានរាយការណ៍ ពីសកម្មភាពខ្មែរក្រហមគាបសង្កាត់ប្រជាជន សកម្មភាពយួនខាងជើង ចូលមកស្ទឹងត្រែងដឹកស្បៀង និងសម្ភារសឹកតាម ខេត្ដរតនៈគិរី សកម្មភាពវប្បធម៌ សង្គមកិច្ចក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់ខ្មែរក្រហម ព្រមទាំងសកម្មភាពអង្គការរួបរួមជាតិនឹងរដ្ឋាភិបាលរួបរួមជាតិដែលមាន នរោត្ដមសីហនុ ប៉ែន នុត, ខៀវ សំផន, អៀង សារី, ហ៊ូ យន់, ហ៊ូ នឹម។
