Soeun Synuon got married to Veng Vang in 1987. She has 4 children, but one of them died because of snake bite. Her father called Soeun and is still alive. Her mother called Patt Noeun is also still alive. She has 8 siblings. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, and shelter. She was brainwashed. She was forced to isolate from others. She was forced to separate from her family members. She had suffocated from 2001 until now. Recently, she feels as though the events is happening agin. She feels jumpy. She finds it is difficult to concentrate. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as though she does not have a future.
សឿន ស៊ីនួន រៀបការជាមួយវ៉េង វ៉ាងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៧។ គាត់មានកូន៤នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដម្នាក់ស្លាប់ដោយសារពស់ចឹក។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះសឿន ហើយនៅរស់។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះបាត់ នឿនរស់នៅសព្វថៃ្ងដែរ។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៨នាក់។ នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យព្យាបាល និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបង្ខំឱ្យរស់នៅដាច់ដោយឡែកពីអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ថប់ដង្ហើមពីឆ្នាំ ២០០១ មកទល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យគិតដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍គួរអោយភ័យខ្លាចរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកផ្ចង់គំនិតទៅលើអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធ្វើឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដិការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ដូចជាគ្មានអនាគតទៅថៃ្ងមុខ។
